If you are hitting shots that consistently go in the wrong direction, even though you believe you are making good golf swings, it could be that the lie angles on your clubs are incorrect.
When your club’s lie angle is correct, the sole of the club will be flat on the ground at impact. A point to note is that most clubs which are correctly fitted will sit with the toe very slightly off the ground at address. This is to allow for adjustments to the club and to your hand position which are different at address to impact.
This video shows how you (or your coach) can quickly check the lie angles on your clubs. Adjustments can be made fairly easily by a club fitter or professional.
