When I am reading a great novel, I can get completely lost in the plot, turning page after page. Time is irrelevant and before I know it, a couple of hours have passed. Do you know this feeling for the things you say you are passionate about?
This is one of the clues to something that is a true passion. You want to read until your eyes feel as if they are about to drop to your chest; you run until you stumble; you play golf until your hands are raw. You complete any set training and then continue without being asked, without being prodded and without guilt.
If you don’t feel like this, then question whether it is a passion. Maybe it started out as a passion, and has become work. Find out what inspired and excited you in the first place and reconnect with that, otherwise you will drift away.
What is your passion?
