Hitting a driver out of the middle of the clubface is a fantastic feeling that as golfers we can never get enough of … and usually don’t do anywhere near as often as we’d like to. But let’s face it, we’d like to have that feeling every time we hit a shot.
A centred strike has minimal vibration through to your hands and the contact feels wonderful. It pretty much assures your shot will fly long and straight.
Most players tend to think less about a centred strike with putting than with their full shots, but non-centred contact with putting can affect accuracy and distance control.
Today’s drill will identify whether you are hitting your putts from the centre of the putter face, or not.
